A family business

CasaDeAvila is a family business run by Diana Blair and his husband Armando Espino. .

Armando at CasadeavilaArmando is always around.
He loves to chat with guests interested in our country and city.

And he knows a lot about local food and Pisco (Peruvian beverage).

Diana at CasadeavilaDiana Blair directs the Spanish School. And of course, she is in charge of the money (women...).

Is she Tony Blair´s family? Who knows. But the Hotel is named after her mothers family name, Avila. They owned the place since 1940.

Both owners appreciate highly guests opinions and recommendations to improve the Hotel service.

A place with story

The place was built as a hotel in 1930 and was called "Country Hotel". It was closed in 1966 and rented to the government. In 1998 the family decided to recover it.

In 2003, Diana and Armando opened the Spanish School and reconditioned three rooms in the building for students accommodation.

Because of guests recommendation, they decided to open some other rooms and started the hostel business in 2004. Since then we have not stopped on growing and improving thanks to our guests. They love the place and appreciate our service.

Now we are a hotel, but we still keep the spirit from our begining. A place devoted to serve our clients and make them enjoy their staying with us.

We are in most of the guidebooks and travel websites, with good comments thanks to our guests. And we will keep on doing as best as possible to satisfy you, our guest.

Of course, Armando is always around the place to help you and give you the best tips to make your local staying an unforgettable pleasure.

Thanks...

Yes, many thanks to all our guests, Victoria, Christine, Benjamin, Michell, Susan, ... and all the ones who visited us during all this past years of activity.

And of course thanks for including so good recommendations in their blogs. Keep in contact. We love you!
